Here’s a first look at my Mom and Dad and my two older brothers Roger & Dennis.

One curious fact about my upbringing is that Roger and Dennis were actually half brothers. I never met their real father Cliff Nieuwendorf. Nor was I ever told about Mom’s first marriage, Something bad must have happened but I’ll never know what. It definitely adversely affected the rest of her life.

Mom often told the story that she never saw my Dad as happy as when I was first born. The smile on his face in this picture lends credence to this story.
